TUTOR TIME CHILD CARE LEARNING CENTERS · CANYON COUNTRPreschool

Licensed since 2014. No serious violations in 16 state visits.

Preschools are not tested, scored, or ranked — not by California, and not by us. What the state keeps instead is a licensing record, and what actually makes a preschool good, you have to go see for yourself.

State inspection record

California licenses and inspects every child care center. This is that record — a safety floor, not a measure of teaching. It cannot tell you whether the adults are warm or the day is well run.

8 citations across 16 visits, none of them serious. Citations are common at licensed centers statewide, so one on its own says little. Title 22 codes: 101229(a), 101226(e)(3)(A), 101229(a)(1), 101223(a)(1), 101223(a)(1), 101223(a)(3), 101229(a)(1), 1596.8662(b)(1)

Why there's no score here

Preschools don't participate in California's standardized testing, so we can't score or rank them the way we do K-12 schools. We show licensing status, capacity, and nearby elementary schools, plus the state's own inspection record — how often inspectors visited, what they cited, and whether anyone complained. That's a safety floor, not a measure of quality. For quality — the warmth of the adults, how they handle a hard morning — visit the program, observe a session, and talk to current families.
